Really hope you can help me put this one to bed guys- I’m pulling my hair out, tried to get support from Blogger and they’ve been less then helpful despite it being their error code. See here; https://productforums.google.com/forum/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=footer#!msg/blogger/S7m_BElishY/Sd2FJUqSDwAJ
Essentially, I am looking to post comments on Blogger blogs, via OpenID using the WordPress feature.
Here’s the code I’ve placed in my WordPress theme header to authenticate my OpenID… the wordpress is setup to redirect to http://bipolarandpersonality.com.
<link href='http://www.blogger.com/openid-server.g' rel='openid.server'/>
<link href='http://bipolarandpersonality.wordpress.com' rel='openid.delegate'/>
Since adding the above code, it appears to authenticate and when I hit publish to submit my comments on any Blogger, it states ‘Publishing…’ before ultimately failing and showing me the following Blogger error code: bX-8nvfzp accompanied with the following message;
Whoops, that’s an error.
We apologise for the inconvenience.
Try refreshing the page to see if things are back in order.
The comments will publish via my Google+ account, I only get the error when I’m trying to publish via WordPress and I’m entering my WordPress username via OpenID.
I’ve tried all the basics, including different browsers, clearing cache/cookies, private browsers, disabling compatibility modes etc… can somebody please attempt to shed some light on this?? I’ve also attached the image below of the error that Blogger shows.
Please, I’ll be grateful for any pointers as I’m certain it’s just a small tweak I’m missing and I’ve sought the solution for 48 hours now from 4 different resources.
Thank you,
James
