How to remove a drop-in plugin?

Hello,

How do I remove a “drop-in” plug-in on WordPress? I installed it to help install data for an old theme I was using but now I think it’s preventing me from uploading a new theme. I didn’t create the plug-in I got it from the old theme developer.

I uploaded the new theme and activated it. But I can still see the old theme template when I click on the links. It takes me back to the old theme homepage(with dummy data).

FYI: This isn’t my field of expertise!
