I have a server with several WordPress installations, two are multi-site networks, the rest are single site.
On all the sites I have automatic updates set at the default i.e. I don’t disable or enable anything in wp-config.php. I have noticed that a couple of the sites, which have low traffic, still have not updated from version 4.7.3 to 4.7.4. But the higher traffic sites did update themselves around 20 April when the 4.7.4 update came out.
I know that automatic updates rely on the the WordPres cron system and that in turns relies on pages being accessed on the site. But even the low traffic sites have had quite a lot of page requests coming in since 20 April. So I wonder why they have not updated yet?
