We’ve tried a few different ways to clone our client’s websites and this is one of the most difficult to use. With the current backup and clone service we use for our clients we can do it without problems or complex processes and they work perfectly every time.
This plugin:
1. Is not for people who do not know how to use CPanel, file manager or don’t know how to connect to their WP database.
2. The process of getting your archive from one server to another is way to complex. There isn’t an easy way to upload created archives to the new server from within the plugin nor can you fetch it from elsewhere unless you upgrade to Pro.
3. To install your archive on the new server you have to download and then upload an install.php file from the original site onto the new server.
Not worth the time and effort. For under $2 you can do it within 5 minutes with other plugins.
