Icons displayed as letters

Hi,

I use FAQ in conjunction with the Zerif Pro theme. But I needed to change the font an the page, so I use the Simple custom CSS plugin to do that. The problem ist, that the + / – icons on my FAQ page are now letters. I know that the icons are a custom font, but I don’t know which or how to apply it to the FAQ page.

Is there any way to solve this?
